Antique Alexander Ritchie Arts and Crafts Celtic cross pendant necklace. On the reverse of the cross at the top it is marked with high relief initials which I believe are AER joined for Alexander Euphemia Ritchie. Under that it is marked IONA. On the bottom half it is marked I. On the front of the cross at top the AR is in 2 circles known as the spectacle mark. On the bottom it has a Hallmark for Glasgow, left facing lion and date letter for 1913. The superb chain is integral with the cross and does not come off. The chain is interspersed with 6 decorated plaques. Weight 29gm , cross 10gm and chain 19gm. Height of cross including bale 5.5cm x 3.5cm. Condition is very good slight wear to chain where cross hangs.
