In Edinburgh and dating from c1877. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "MC&Co" for Mackay, Cunningham & Co, the Monarch's Head (Queen Victoria) duty mark, the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark, the Edinburgh castle town mark and date letter "V" for 1877/78. The tray on three ball and claw feet, with decorative engraving and a beaded edge to the border.It measures approximately 8 inches (200mm). The weight is 373.2g/13.16oz/12.0ozt.
