The Ladle is 30.5cm/12 inches Long, and weighs 153gms, it is of the FIDDLE or OAR PATTERN, it is monogrammed with the letters A. In script, please look at the pictures it has a nice deep oval shaped bowl. Although the ladle is big it has a very elegant feel to it.The Hallmarks are very crisp and clear , the spoon is made of a good gauge of silver. The condition is very good Antique condition for a spoon that is 228 years old it has very little wear to the bowl, a nice polished finish, no repairs or damage, surface scratches commensurate with age, it has been used, a very collectable 18th century item of SCOTTISH PROVINCIAL silver that would grace any collection.
